Smart Switches? Humpf!

When you start rewiring the switches in your new house – only to discover, after much hair being pulled out in frustration, that the smart switches you want to use don’t play nice with their dumb counterparts on the same circuit – you improvise a way to know which way the dumb switches need to be set for the smart ones to work properly (the alternative solution is to buy extra smart switches to play nice – at a much heftier price tag – no thanks!). I’m so thankful my husband’s brain can figure out electricity – I get lost if there is more than one switch involved.
