Working on a large publicity job for a client and as I started counting all these ornaments, it rapidly became clear I was going to run out of wood.

Getting set up for the Boot Country Craft Show tomorrow (this is only a partial setup tonight – more to come in the morning). Come on out 10a-4p tomorrow! Each purchase at any of the booths earns you a raffle ticket to the door prize consisting of items donated by each vendor here (wow!).

I cut some pins to hold these ornament beads in the laser in order to add the year to them – and it worked out so well! These are a great way to add a year to an ornament if wanted – or leave it off, if not wanted. I’ll have a few of these available at the craft fair next Saturday (10/22). I’m volunteering at my daughter’s school tomorrow for the band competition, but I don’t have any school spirit wear yet (it’s on order, but won’t arrive in time), so I whipped up these fun earrings to wear instead. These are hand painted with the school colors and should pair perfectly with tomorrow’s festivities.

I was going to get my laser cutting on yesterday, but it was 97° … and today is 56° … a much nicer temperature to sit outside and make the things.

Working smarter, not harder this year! Prepping all my laser wood ahead of time so I can just grab and go when I’m ready to make all the things.
